The Salvation Army of the Virginia Peninsula is striving to meet increased needs of our communities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.   As vulnerable members of the Virginia Peninsula and Gloucester communities suffer from layoffs and job interruptions, the Army is finding innovative ways to increase distribution of emergency food, emergency utility assistance and emergency shelter.  During these unique and challenging days, we urgently need your help   A donation of any amount will help those struggling to cope with the effects of COVID-19 in our local community.    Read more…
