    The Salvation Army Adjusts Schedules and Services During Snow

    Hampton Roads, VA (Wednesday, January 22, 2014) – Due to the inclement weather and below freezing temperatures, The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command has adjusted schedules and services. Administrative services located at 5525 Raby Road, Norfolk are closed Wednesday, January 22, but will reopen at 9AM on Thursday, January 23.

    The HOPE Center shelter located on 19th Street in Norfolk is open for those seeking shelter from the sub-freezing temperatures. The shelter will remain open 24 hours a day until the coldest weather passes in order to keep people safe and warm. Meals will be served three times a day during this time, as well.
