JOB TITLE: VOLUNTEER/DONATION DRIVE COORDINATOR
LOCATION: THE SALVATION ARMY HAMPTON ROADS AREA COMMAND

Under the general supervision of the Director of Development, the Volunteer/Donation Drive Coordinator supports community engagement through developing and managing significant volunteer, donation drive and networking programs and assists with planning, coordination and execution of special event functions. Researches and secures location, facilities, transportation as required, and coordinates and supervises volunteers to ensure events run smoothly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing, public relations, or a related field,
A minimum of two years progressively responsible experience demonstrating a record of accomplishment in development, with an emphasis on building and enhancing an integrated program and considerable interface with top-level volunteers.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
