The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign enables The Salvation Army to provide food, toys and clothing to thousands of people during the Christmas season in Hampton Roads and helps Americans recovering from all kinds of personal disasters nationwide. The Red Kettle campaign, first started in San Francisco in 1891, has traditionally been the Salvation Army’s most prominent fund-raiser.
Volunteers are needed daily at a variety of locations throughout Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, shifts are available Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Groups available to man multiple sites are highly desired! You can sign up below.
