The Salvation Army Portsmouth Corps Center is located at 2306 Airline Blvd in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Each week, Captains John and Stephanie Blevins host vibrant programs that enrich the Portsmouth community. John is a second generation Salvationist whose parents currently serve as corps officers in Wheeling, WV. Stephanie, originally from Hagerstown, MD, is a first generation Salvationist. John and Stephanie both graduated from The Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, GA. Prior to becoming a corps officer, John worked at The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters in Baltimore as a Field Accounting Coordinator. John and Stephanie served as corps assistants in Hagerstown, MD prior to entering officer training. John and Stephanie served as corps officers in Waynesboro, VA for the last four years. They have a daughter, Emory, and son, Camden.
*After 11/1/16, Portsmouth will have completed accepting 2016 Christmas applications. Call only if you have an emergency need. Late applicants WILL NOT be able to come to Norfolk’s extended dates.
