Friday, May 13, 11:30-5PM
The Salvation Army is on the front lines during emergencies and disasters, and we need our Nation's Capital to be prepared.
Consider joining our Emergency and Disaster Services Volunteer Team and get trained to be deployed during local or national disasters. On this day, we will have a basic level course so new volunteers can join us and we can re-engage with currently trained Emergency and Disaster Services volunteers as well. We will provide a lunch for all participants as well as a basic, entry-level training. This event will take place at The Arlington Corps, located at 518 S. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA, and has free parking and is MetroBus accessible.
