Position Title: Bell Ringer Schedule: Monday – Saturday 10am-8pm Position Description: Greet shoppers as they fill the kettles this season with their contributions to help our most needy. Kettles are located at grocery and retail stores throughout the area. Requirements: We ask that groups sign up to take at least a day of ringing at one kettle at one location. You can split the day among your family, friends, and coworkers or other group members in two-hour blocks. We welcome youth volunteers for this event, but youth MUST be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
Position Title: Angel Tree Gift Sorting Schedule: Multiple shifts available Monday- Friday How many volunteers: Individuals and groups of up to 20 are welcome Position Description: Help organize the thousands of donated gifts for the children registered in our Angel Tree Program. Requirements: Volunteers must be age 14 or older. All youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult throughout the volunteer shift. Volunteers must be able to lift medium to large packages, carry items up and down stairs, and be comfortable on their feet for the majority of their shifts.
Position Title: Feed Up Assistant Schedule: First and third Mondays of the month, 5:30pm-7:30pm Position Description: Help serve meals to the homeless from the canteen, a mobile feeding unit.
Position Title: Gospel Arts Assistant Schedule: Wednesdays, 4pm-7pm Position Description: Help teach brass, piano, guitar, vocals, dance or mime to over 50 children.
Position Title: Receptionist Schedule: Flexible, Thursdays and Fridays; 9am-12pm and/or 1-4pm. Position Description: Answer phones, greet guests, and share basic information about social services to guests. Position Title: Youth Program Assistant Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year, 4pm-6pm Position Description: Provide homework help and teach computer skills to over 30 children from local schools.
Position Title: Youth Day Coordinator Schedule: First Saturday of every month, 10am-2pm Position Description: Help pre-K to 12th grade youth participate in Christian-based scouting work that helps broaden their knowledge about the world around them through arts and crafts, field trips, recreation and numerous other fun activities.
Position Title: Janitorial Assistant Schedule: Flexible Position Description: Take out trash, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, disinfect bathrooms, organize canned goods and assist with other tasks.

We are looking for 3-5 volunteers to assist with games, bible study, activities, and other programs. Lunch is provided. Volunteers must be age 18+.

Position Title: Childcare Assistant Schedule: Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm, or Fridays, 7pm-9pm Position Description: Help play with and take care of children ages 2-4 years old when their parents are in classes. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and have 3-5 years of experience taking care of young children.
Position Title: Music Instructor Schedule: Wednesdays, 7pm-8:30pm. A 3-month commitment is required. Position Description: Teach youth how to play various instruments during the weekly band practice. Requirements: Must have substantial experience in playing an instrument.
Position Title: Sunday Youth Instructor Schedule: Sundays, 10am-2pm Position Description: Help facilitate a Bible-based, character-building program that includes activities and games for youth.
Requirements: Must be familiar with The Salvation Army’s mission, teachings, and culture. Must have prior experience working with children.
Position Title: Youth Minister Schedule: Wednesdays, 6pm-8:30pm, Sundays, 10am-2pm, and additional youth events Position Description: Help share the Gospel with youth through a variety of structured youth programs that will enrich their spiritual lives as well as strengthen their social, mental and physical development. Requirements: Must be familiar with The Salvation Army’s mission, teachings, and culture. Preference given to a uniform-wearing Salvationist in good standing with his/her local Corps.
Position Title: Youth Program Teacher and Teacher Assistant Schedule: Wednesdays, 6pm-7pm. A 3-month commitment is required. Position Description: Teach or assist teachers in either a kindergarten, 1st-5th grade or 6th-12th grade class, where students participate in a variety of activities and games focused on the following themes: arts and crafts, outdoor living, family, culture, character-building, Salvation Army beliefs, among other topics.
