ABOUT

The National Capital & Virginia division has a summer music conservatory that dates back several decades. In 2012, the program officially became the James B. Anderson Music & Arts Conservatory in honor of former music director, James Anderson (1946 – 2010).

The majors offered are: brass/percussion, dance/creative arts, and piano. On top of that, everyone sings in the choir, chooses an elective, and spends some time every day studying scripture. In short, at conservatory, delegates WILL see progress in both the creative and spiritual aspects of their lives.

In recent years, the conservatory has performed at notable locations such as Nationals Stadium, the Lincoln Memorial, and even had a place in the Washington DC Independence Day parade.
