    Angel Tree Volunteer

You’ll assist the adopter as they choose their Angel/Silver Bell from the tree, fill out information cards for each adopter, provide details and instructions about the adoption process, and collect gifts as they’re returned. Adopt an Angel or Silver Bell

We depend on the generosity of our community in order for thousands of families in Central Virginia to have a blessed Christmas.  We invite you to choose an Angel (children ages 0-14) and/or Silver Bell (senior citizens ages 62+) from trees displayed at area malls and corporations, purchase gifts for that child/senior at Christmas and return the unwrapped gifts in the bag provided, to the Angel Tree location where you choose them, by Monday, December 4. Each Angel and Silver Bell represents an underprivileged child or senior who, without the support of the community, might not have a Christmas.

    Ring a Bell

The Salvation Army’s most recognizable public effort is the annual Red Kettle drive. To millions it’s the very essence of charitable giving.

During November and December, men, women and children ring bells throughout Central Virginia. Generous individuals place monetary donations in the kettles to support our year-round programs here in Central Virginia. SEE MORE HERE to sign-up for information about becoming a bell ringer.
