Please contact 757-229-6651 to schedule time and location for participation in the 2014 kettle campaign. Bell Ringers Needed: Volunteer with The Salvation Army This Christmas! Bellringers may volunteer as individuals, as a family, or larger group at a location near you! You can sing carols, play an instrument and RING the bell – spreading Christmas joy and reminding our community that the greatest gift you can give is “Sharing and Caring” for your fellow people. Donations made to Kettles go towards: Providing toys for children. Giving needy families groceries. Thanksgiving holiday relief. Providing general relief and assistance during Christmas. Sheltering the homeless. The Salvation Army provides services, assistance, and spiritual counseling when needy families and individuals need it most. There are multiple locations throughout the Williamsburg area. Volunteers are needed from November 14th ,2014 thru December 24th ,2014 Bell ringing occurs Monday- Saturday from morning until evening. During the Christmas season, Corps and community centers offer holiday programs including Adopt a Family, Angel Tree, and food boxes that provide for families throughout the season.
